Moses Kamau Muthee is a degree holder of Bachelor of Science Biotechnology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology-JKUAT class of 2018, during his academic pursuit he has done industrial attachment at Kenya Agricultural & Livestock Research Organization KALRO–KITALE in 2016 where he was involved in Infestation of stem borers in Controlled Field Trial (CFT) on both GM and non-GM maize to observe pest resistance/infestation. Variety testing of maize at different levels that is Preliminary yield trial (PYT), Advanced Yield trial (AYT) test for adaptability and National Performance Trial (NPT) tests for adaptability and stability. 


In 2017 he was attached in KALRO-KANDARA and was taken to various laboratories: analytical, entomology, entomopathogenic (EPN), tissue culture and mycology. During this period he was interested in entomopathogenic nematodes which led to him doing a project titled “Control of Mushroom Pest (sciarids) using Entomopathogenic nematodes” and concluded that EPNs can be used to effectively control Sciarids at different concentrations. His interest in the agricultural sector landed him a job with BASF Agricultural Solutions in 2019 as a field sales and technical expert and in mid-August-2020 he begun a job in the sales department at Farm track consulting limited, an agricultural based limited company that deals with bio pesticides.
